United States and India Sign Framework for Cooperation on Trade and Investment
U.S. Trade Representative Ron Kirk and Indian Minister of Commerce and Industry Anand Sharma today signed a "Framework for Cooperation on Trade and Investment." This agreement strengthens bilateral cooperation and seeks to build on recent rapid growth in U.S.-India trade, which has more than doubled over the past five years.
Trans Pacific Partnership Negotiations Begin in Australia
The eight members of the Trans Pacific Partnership began negotiations on Monday, March 15 in Melbourne, Australia. More than 200 delegates from the United States and Australia, Brunei Darussalam, Chile, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore, and Vietnam kicked off the negotiations in an opening plenary session.
