On April 14, United States Trade Representative Ron Kirk traveled to Chicago, Illinois and met with the President of the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, Marshall M. Bouton, to discuss how the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) can help increase exports and create jobs. Ambassador Kirk also discussed with small business leaders and local officials the benefits of APEC and the U.S.-Korea trade agreement.
