Moore Named Assistant USTR for Intergovernmental Affairs and Public Liaison

Washington, DC – United States Trade Representative Rob Portman today announced an addition to the USTR staff.  Tiffany Moore will begin as Assistant USTR for Intergovernmental Affairs and Public Liaison.

"Ms. Moore will be a terrific addition to the USTR team. Her skills and experience will be put to great use in consulting with the business community, non-governmental organizations and State and local governments on trade matters," said Ambassador Portman. "I know she will do an excellent job communicating the benefits of U.S. trade initiatives to our stakeholders."

Tiffany M. Moore – Assistant USTR for Intergovernmental Affairs and Public Liaison

Ms. Moore will lead domestic outreach efforts to state and local governments, the business and agricultural communities, labor, environmental and consumer groups. She will also be responsible for improving the public's understanding of U.S. trade policies through education and strategic communications initiatives. In addition, her office manages the U.S. trade advisory committee system.

Since April 2005, Ms. Moore has served as Director of Government Relations for Kellogg Company. She joined the government relations team at Kellogg Company in January 2003 as a manager and was promoted to associate director in September 2004. Ms. Moore directed Kellogg Company's federal legislative agenda, including their trade portfolio. Before joining Kellogg, Ms. Moore served as legislative director to Congressman Fred Upton and advised him on trade matters before the U.S. Congress.

Ms. Moore earned her bachelor’s degree in Spanish Language and Literature from Western Michigan University and her master’s degree in International Affairs from George Washington University in Washington, DC.

Ms. Moore, born in Detroit, Michigan, currently resides in the Washington, DC area.
