Press Registration

The Office of the United States Trade Representative is hosting the third round of Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (T-TIP) negotiations from December 16 – 20, 2013 in Washington, D.C.  For planning purposes only, this memo provides information on press opportunities and arrangements for interested journalists.


Interested working journalists should register now for a press credential to participate in open press components of the third round of T-TIP negotiations.  Only credentialed press will be permitted to cover third round events.  All journalists must have press-designated credentials for admission. 

Press credentials are limited and will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis, with an initial limit of two credentials per media outlet.  You are encouraged to register as soon as possible herePress registration will close at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, December 13, 2013.  Press credentials may be picked up upon check-in for the below press opportunities.

A press credential allows access only to the below press opportunities.  Journalists will not be allowed access to areas in which negotiations are taking place unless scheduled to conduct an individual interview with a U.S. Government official, booked through USTR.

Unfortunately, due to space constraints, there will not be a media resource room available

Interview Opportunities:

Select U.S. Government officials involved in the third round of negotiations may be available for a limited number of interviews.  Any and all U.S. Government interviews must be booked through USTR.  Please contact Anne Eisenhower at with interview requests.
