WASHINGTON – United States Trade Representative Katherine Tai today met virtually with South Korean Trade Minister Yoo Myung-hee.
Ambassador Tai and Minister Yoo discussed the importance of the U.S.-Korea trade relationship and the free trade agreement that strengthened economic ties between both countries. They discussed opportunities for future cooperation, including World Trade Organization reform, exchanged views on a range of common concerns, and discussed areas of cooperation including in the digital economy. Ambassador Tai and Minister Yoo agreed to regular engagement on key issues.
