Ambassador Tai to Travel to Irvine and San Diego, California

WASHINGTON – United States Trade Representative Katherine Tai will travel to Irvine and San Diego, California from August 8 to August 9, 2024 for the White House Initiative on Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders (WHIAANHPI) Economic Summit.
 
On August 8, Ambassador Tai will participate in a fireside chat with Administrator of the Small Business Administration, Isabel Guzman, and Erika Moritsugu, Deputy Assistant to the President and Asian American and Native Hawaiian & Pacific Islander Senior Liaison, during the WHIAANHPI Economic Summit in Irvine, California. This event is open press. Livestream information will be provided at a later date.
 
On August 9, Ambassador Tai will be in San Diego, California.  
 
Ambassador Tai will participate in roundtables with community leaders and local stakeholders. These events are closed press.
