WASHINGTON — On the 29th of April, the Office of the United States Trade Representative, together with the United States Department of the Treasury, hosted representatives of the European Commission in Washington for the seventh meeting of the Joint Committee established under the 2017 U.S.-EU Agreement on Prudential Measures Regarding Insurance and Reinsurance (“the Agreement”).

WASHINGTON – Yesterday, U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer met with Korea’s Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) Ahn Dukgeun.

During the productive meeting, Ambassador Greer underscored the priorities of President Trump’s America First Trade Policy, and both sides agreed on the importance of achieving expedient and meaningful progress toward reciprocal and balanced trade between the United States and Korea. The Ministers discussed next steps between USTR and MOTIE and instructed their teams to engage in technical discussions next week.

WASHINGTON – Today, U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer welcomed Vice President Vance and Prime Minister Modi’s statement reaffirming the importance of the India-U.S. COMPACT (Catalyzing Opportunities for Military Partnership, Accelerated Commerce & Technology) initiative and highlighting the progress in the negotiations for a Bilateral Trade Agreement (BTA), launched by President Trump and Prime Minister Modi in Washington on February 13, 2025.
